Challenge
This mural was one of the most difficult murals due to its size and weather conditions. Majority of the mural was on pavement (the ground) and it required an immense amount of physical strength and endurance to apply the paint on the rough surface. This mural is located behind FAIR School and the biggest challenge was keeping cars from coming through and keeping people from walking over our work when the paint was still wet.
This might just be the biggest mural in Minnesota! Its bold, flowing design mirrors the mighty Mississippi, capturing the river’s shifting depths over the past century in a wave of color and motion.
